Dear children and parents,
We would like to invite you to our organized meeting-discussion on mathematics, which will introduce you in detail to the free platform Khan Academy (https://bg.khanacademy.org).
When: 26 February 2023, Sunday at 13:00
Where: the Bulgarica Centre
Address: 1120 S Elmhurst Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056
For children from 10 to 15 years.
Let's talk math and success in life!
We'll show you how to learn more easily and at your own speed through Cannes Academy, a free tool in both English and Bulgarian.
We'll talk about what we use math for and how we learn to achieve our goals and dreams.
We will also show how the parent can monitor where the child is succeeding and struggling.
Let children start learning mathematics in an easy and innovative way. All lessons are presented as interactive exercises and prompts, including video lectures, and cover the material studied at school, according to the age of the child. After each lesson there is a quiz with which the child and parent can monitor individual progress.
Khan Academy's approach is innovative and the child will be captivated by the way the site works, will be motivated to learn and achieve mastery at more and more new and interesting tasks.
There are also additional classes scheduled for the weekend for anyone interested in joining the training, which will be announced after the meeting. The platform is always and everywhere free; additional hours are paid.
We look forward to seeing all little mathematicians ready for new knowledge.
We need to know only one thing: You can learn anything!
