"The Snail Who Wanted to Stop Time tells the story of Harry, a slow and good-natured snail who tries to arrive on time for school every day. Taunted by his classmates for being slow, Harry dreams of stopping time so he will no longer be late for school. His strong desire leads him to the wise, swamp turtle for advice. His conversation with her helps him realize that persistence and perseverance are actually the keys to achieving all his dreams. The story emphasizes the importance of self-discovery in achieving goals and the true value of friendship.
