Opening of the new class for the 2025/2026 season
Dance school "Bulgarica" started new Bulgarian folk dance class for beginners (adults) in Mount Prospect.
In class you will learn basic steps and choruses from different folk areas, improve rhythm and coordination, and - most importantly - have fun in a friendly environment. No previous experience is necessary and
Teacher: Boryana Petrova – part of „Bulgarica“ since 2016, an active member of the „Bulgarica“ dance troupe. During the 2026–2027 season, she leads both Thursday groups—for beginners and intermediate beginners. She emphasizes a clear rhythm, precise technique, and a team-oriented atmosphere.
What to expect:
– basic steps and popular dances (horo, dajchovo, rachenitsa – beginner levels);
- Warm-up, step technique, and work in formation
- Smooth progression suitable for complete beginners
