The film was shot in 2024. Producer and director is public figure Hristo Iliev. The viewers will touch the stories and facts that are not taught in textbooks and are not written in books, but are a living heritage, memories from the families of the great Bulgarians. The film features such extraordinary people as Boyan Botev, a relative of Hristo Botev; Stefan Karaivanov, a relative of Vasil Levski; Hari Draganov, a relative of Sofroni Vrachanski, who was an opera singer at the Geneva Opera, as well as one of the great Bulgarian historians, prof. Plamen Pavlov.

Brief but extremely informative, the film poses questions whose answers lie in each of us, modern Bulgarians, struggling every day for a better life and a brighter tomorrow. "Humans" is aimed especially at young people - to touch the native, the Bulgarian, "to be proud to be Bulgarians, to realize their responsibility to our ancestors and above all to be human".
