About the book:
"Petrichor" is a novel about non-return and rain - a symbol of sadness, hope and time that washes away and preserves memories. It is a story of the romantic doom of a generation, of the journeys of the spirit fulfilled and dreamt of. Childhood, love and youth pass as bright, yet slightly blurred by the rain pictures.
Impressions of the novel:
"A book about non-return, a book about rain, about the romantic doom of our generation... The stories, the passages, the returns to thought have a purity, a drive for responsibility. And love. Lots of love."
- Vasil Slavov
"I perceive the book as an honest and moving account of a journey of the heart - along familiar and beloved or forgotten paths - in search of the truth about life, death and love, about victories and losses, about the answer to the fateful question: 'Who am I and where is my place in the lineage?'"
- Radostina Zikolova
"Wasewski tells about the ordinary things of everyday life without mannerism... This makes the novel significant and close to the fate of every independent reader."
- Mirolyub Vlahov-Mirolich
