Bulgaroteca 35 – Dance, Tradition and Hope

On 10 May 2025 in the Hall Crystal Palace Banquets the 35th edition of the cultural event Bulgarotecaorganized by the Cultural Center "Bulgarica". The evening passed with a very high interest and gathered representatives of the Bulgarian community in Chicago, folk dance lovers and fans of Bulgarian music and culture.

The program of the event included performances of the children's dance groups of "Bulgarica" with artistic directors Krasi Ganeva, Yana Kopcheva and Tanya Ivanova. The little dancers presented traditional Bulgarian choirs, including Handwriting, Chopska ruchenitsa and Diggerprepared especially for the occasion. The stage performances caused excitement among the audience and were loudly applauded.

The musical part of the evening was entrusted to the singer Diana Jadé, saxophonist Zhivko Zhekov and DJ Russiwho contributed to the festive atmosphere with a rich program combining folk motifs and modern rhythms.

A charity initiative in support of children was also held during the event Christian and Victoriawho need funds for treatment. Thanks to the donations from the attendees, the $993. The Cultural Center "Bulgarica" would like to thank everyone who supported the cause. The campaign remains open for donations through the GoFundMe platform.
