On April 27, 2025, a screening of the documentary "Milen"presented by Club Bulgarica Kinomania. The event gathered nearly 40 guests - fans of Bulgarian journalism and culture, which is a clear sign of the great interest in the personality of Milen Tsvetkov.

The film "Milen", made by Veselin Dimanov and Dimitar Stafidov, presents an in-depth look at the professional and life path of the journalist, tracing the dramatic changes in Bulgarian journalism after 1989. For almost a year, the creative team collected material from Tsvetkov's personal archive and from hundreds of hours of on-air recordings, some of which were shown to the public for the first time. Special access to the archives was granted by the journalist's family and Nova TV.

Before the screening, a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere was created in which a lively discussion about Milen's life, work and values took place. One of the special moments of the evening was the personal sharing of the editor of the newspaper Bulgarians in California - BulgariCA, Evgeni Veselinovwho told us about his short but inspiring collaboration with Milen in Bulgarian radio. These vivid accounts further illuminated Milen's image as a man of principles, with deep integrity and a strong voice for truth.

The documentary includes over 40 interviews with relatives, colleagues and friends of Milen Tsvetkov, united by the memory of his principled, free-loving spirit and uncompromising search for the truth. The film reminded of those qualities of Tsvetkov that made him a symbol of free journalism in Bulgaria.

Guests of the event also had the opportunity to view the newly opened exhibition "Together / US Project 2" - a joint project of the famous Bulgarian artists Onnik Karanfilyan and Nina Koleva-Karanfilyan, exhibited in the space of the Gallery Bagrena at the center "Bulgarica", which contributed to an even more complete cultural experience of the evening.

Club Bulgarica Kinomania expresses special thanks to all who supported the event and once again proved that the memory of personalities like Milen Tzvetkov is alive, significant and inspires new generations.
