When children show the world through their eyes

There's something special in the moment when a child stands next to their drawing or sculpture and shows it to others. Behind every creation are hours of work, imagination, and a desire to create something of their own.

On the eve of International Children's Day Bulgarica Cultural Center„ opened the doors for an exhibition of children's drawings and sculptures. The event brought together children from the Bulgarian community in Chicago and gave them the opportunity to present their works to parents, friends, and guests.

The initiative was the brainchild of Silvia Rankova and was realized with the cooperation of the Bulgarica Cultural Center.

Every child received well-deserved recognition.

Part of the program included voting for a favorite artwork. The children had the opportunity to view their peers' work and choose a piece that impressed them the most.

More important than the choice itself was the recognition for all participants. For every child, this was an opportunity to showcase their work to an audience and receive support for their development.

Thank you to all the children, parents, teachers, visitors, and donors who supported the initiative. Special thanks go to Silvia Rankova for the idea and towards Tatiana Avdjiev for the beautiful photos that preserved the memory of this day.
